There are rescues for dogs, cats, birds - even reptiles. There seems to be a rescue for anything except for the finned swimming friend. KARS is a one of a kind business. An unwanted aquatic always meets his death before his time is due. I believe that fish are found to be readily disposable once their flair is gone. People don't think that this type of pet is worth saving once they do not want them anymore. I am a firm believer that ANY pet deserves a chance at a good life.
I will drive to pick up, catch and give a great home to any unwanted fish. I am a member of at least 10 different fish hobby organizations or groups. Due to the connections within these groups, I am able to obtain a huge market to find these fish new homes. If they do not find their forever home, then my home will be their forever home. This is my way of doing my little part in saving unwanted pets.
